E90M3's tag idea post from yesterday reminded me that I took this picture the other day. Gonna have to zoom in because I had to be quick.

At least yours gave a little extra information that wasn’t already plastered on the car - ha!

As un creative as it was, I liked my plate a lot.

So, I just pulled up Autotrader and looked through the lower-mile E90s for sale - they’re all DCTs. I have a feeling that your car’s going to be worth a pretty penny in a few years!

Especially since it would only work on a very select number of cars!

Coincidentally , I was also looking this morning, I can’t find any low mileage ones for sale. They’re just not out there. When I bought it, I never dreamed that there might be a day where it’d be worth what I paid for it, but it seems like the market for low mileage examples has bottomed out. I’ve never regretted my decision, but this just validates my thinking back in 2014 that it was really the perfect time to buy one because I would probably never have that opportunity again.

There’s a lot of years before it’s worth what you spent, but seems like you could get $40k for it before long.
It’s a nice feeling that mine will probably never be worth much less than $20k (half what I paid for mine 80k miles ago).
A quarter a mile (before gas & maintenance, of course...) doesn’t sound half bad for the enjoyment it’s given me!

Pretty sure I could probably get 40k now, given what someones have gone for on BAT. Give it another 2 years.

There in such high demand that EAG doesn’t even have one for sale!
